Color Adjustments changes the captured colors before Color Palette snaps them. Use it to brighten a dark model, punch up flat colors, or shift a whole character’s hue, without touching the source materials. The same character with no adjustment, Exposure +1, Contrast +50, Saturation +80, Hue Shift +120, and a combined muted setting

Settings

All settings are 0 by default, which means no change.

Tips

  • With an Auto Color Palette, click Regenerate on the palette after large changes so the palette is rebuilt from the adjusted colors. The palette shows a stale warning when it needs this.
  • With a Custom palette, adjustments decide which palette color each pixel snaps to. A small Exposure or Contrast change is often enough to use more of the palette.
